Hello There! I’m Kristen!

I know just how busy you are, constantly juggling it all and barely having time for yourself. I feel you and have been there too. I want the process of finding your doula and or birth photographer to be easy and seamless. I want to you to feel supported throughout this journey, fall in love with the family you are creating, and have momentos that  capture the beauty and authenticity of your ongoing story. I’m excited to do all that for you and more!

About Kristen

Kristen Lee Fortier is a birth doula and a photographer based in Whitefish, Montana. Kristen started taking photographs at 15 years old and has had a notable career in the photo industry. After being wonderfully supported by a doula during the births of her two children, she decided she wanted to be able to support other women in the same way, as well as tell their stories through photography. Her daughter Charlotte Moon was born in April 2019 during the new moon and it was after this she started her birth doula training at Natural Resources in San Francisco. She is now a certified birth doula and postpartum doula. She is a member of Postpartum Resource Group and volunteers her time helping to facilitate The Circle Whitefish, a place for mothers to be heard and supported during their postpartum journey. She also is a member of and volunteers time with Flathead Valley Breastfeeding Coalition. She loves the beauty and calm of home birth but also enjoys supporting and documenting births in the hospital at both The Birth Center Logan Health in Whitefish and Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell.
