Welcome to my home photo studio in Whitefish, Montana!
When it comes to capturing the beauty of your family, I always aim to create photos that feel authentic and meaningful. This is why I like photographing sessions in your home. Your unique space helps to tell the story and is filled with the details of your life.
But I know that sometimes, the idea of a home session can feel overwhelming. Maybe you’re not in love with your space, or life feels too crazy to tidy up. And then there’s winter in Montana—a time when outdoor sessions aren’t always an option.
That’s where my natural light home studio comes in. Flooded with soft, natural light, it’s a beautiful setting for timeless maternity, newborn, and family sessions.
Recently, I had Madison, and her youngest baby Ziggi come to my home studio for a motherhood session. Emma, one of my birth doula and birth photography clients also join me for a maternity session. I love how both shoots turned out!

Emma and her sweet bump in the simplicity of a neutral backdrop.
I love bringing greenery and florals into the space.
Here’s what you can expect at my home studio:
A Clean, Minimal Aesthetic: The studio’s neutral palette provides a timeless backdrop that puts you and your family at the center of the story.
Comfortable and Relaxing: Mi casa es su casa. I welcome you into my home as a friend. Join me for a cup of tea to relax before we get started. I think you’ll find yourself right at home.
Private: Whether it’s capturing the glow of pregnancy or the tiny details of your new baby, when I use my home as a photo studio my family is not around, so you’ll have the privacy you need for intimate sessions.
Shooting through houseplants is something I like doing at all my indoor shoots whether at my home studio or in your home. I pulled a few from around my house to create some depth and interest in the composition.
The forecast showed full sun which I had hoped to shoot in, but we had an inversion that day. This is how Montana winters and weather are. Even with full cloud cover, there is ample light to capture smiling babies! How sweet is Ziggi with those little teeth popping out!
Our Christmas tree lights added some extra glow and warmth to this image.
Bringing in extra florals is a nice touch to fill out the space and bring in some warmth.
Another simple set up letting Emma and her belly be the focus.
I have a selection of simple linens that can be incorporated into the session.
OMG these adorable rolls!
